  • Undertaking driving duties within depot confines in line with operating procedures.

  • Working either a day shift or split morning/afternoon shift roster as required.

  • Confidence using diagnostic software, schematics, and test equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to fault investigation and record keeping.
  • A proven safety-first mindset, ideally from a safety-critical or regulated industry.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and mentoring skills – someone others can rely on and learn from.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence and the ability to pass drug & alcohol testing, a medical assessment, and company vetting.

Experience within rolling stock maintenance or reliability engineering would be advantageous, but we also welcome candidates from industries such as aerospace, automotive, HGV, defence, or other safety-critical sectors.
