We are now recruiting for an Engineering Administrator to support the Rolling Stock department in day-to-day administration duties to include undertaking day to day management of engineering documents.

You will prepare reports and documentation and act as a central point for the department, collating, quality checking and distributing confidential reports and data.

In addition to this as our Engineering Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Creation and management of weekly and monthly reporting.
  • Actively seeking ways to improve and enhance processes whilst ensuring existing process compliance.
  • Supporting and acting as a deputy to the Rolling Stock Maintenance Co-ordinator.
  • Acting as a central point for the department, collating, quality checking and distributing reports and data.
  • Management of Rolling Stock documents stored on SharePoint, document upload, library creation, versioning control.
  • General administration duties within the Rolling Stock Department.

To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have:

  • Good working knowledge to include Sharepoint, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Authoring reports to a high standard.
  • Understanding of business processes.
  • A GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication skills.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience working with database systems.
  • Experience working with document management systems.
